DDOT Permits for Smart Phones
The District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) Permit lookup application for iPhone, and iPad a provides the public with a map based permit lookup tool for DDOT public space permits.
Locate and discover information regarding Washington, DC public space permits by using the DDOT Public Space Permit Look Up Tool. This geographic information system (GIS) centric app gives the public an opportunity to view public space permit information, such as the effective and expiration dates, on an interactive map.
Features:
Users can search for a location: a specific address, a significant DC landmark such as the White House, or click on a location icon to display all nearby public space permits
Select permit types to display, such as for Construction, Occupancy, Special Tree, or Emergency Work Request
Adjust the buffer size (in miles) to define the map area where permits will be displayed
Tap on a permit icon to displays permit information such as permitee name, duration of the permit, permit number and status
